Happy Halloween!

There are many people who go crazy decorating for Halloween. Not me. I put out a fake pumpkin, my fiber optic witch and lots of candy. There are a few little goblins in the neighborhood that receive special treats. Of course, my 21 year old gets treats year round.

Tucked inside is an orange leaf gift card in envelopes (made with the Stampin’ Up punch board) along with kit mats and gummy candy.

Lots of angles, stripes and textures on this week’s card submission. I had to create and post this one in a hurry as we are Vegas bound to catch Jimmy Buffet’s show!

PPA 176 – Black Tie Christmas

I waited until the last moment to make this card for the PPA challenge 176. I was intimidated by the daunting template and the incredible cards submitted by the design team. But I am Spanish and Texan, making me determined and stubborn. So here it is!

The based is a beautiful textured slate cardstock bought at a paper distributor. Up close, you can see and feel the pin stripes. The ribbon is leftover from my football mum making days.
  • Stamp: SU Best Yet
  • DSP: Winter Frost
  • Tools: Martha Stewart snowflake punch, large oval, decorative label, label bracket punch, Big Shot SU snowflake embossing folder
  • Ink: paint shimmer platinum, MS silver embossing powder with versamark ink
